Olive trees, which are thought to have been born in Southeastern Anatolia and spread from here to Anatolia and Mediterranean Sea coasts, have different physical, chemical and sensory characteristics according to the region it grows.

Sira Food has the network opportunity to supply olive oils with various sensory profiles accross Aegean, the Marmara and Mediterranean Regions, which are harvested with good agricultural practices, squeezed with the right techniques, packaged and stored under appropriate conditions.

Instead of classifying olive oils solely according to their acidity content, other chemical and sensory features are shared with and suitable products are offered to customers for their tastes and needs.

Sira Food shows the same due diligence shown to olive oil towards table olives as well. After harvesting, olives are treated and ripened by natural methods and presented to the customers with various kinds of green, black and seasoned varieties according to the needs.

Polyphenols, which are an important measure in determining the quality of olive oils, have an antioxidant effect on the human body, with its anti-aging and immune-enhancing feature. Sira Food keeps track of the total polyphenol values of olive oil on every step of production.
